In previous collections like Deconstruct/Reconstruct I’ve explored personal narratives and family history. Broken Doll is an archive of personal memories and shares my feelings about suicide and self harm. The piece combines digital embroidery, English patchwork and found objects to tell the story of my lifelong struggles with depression and anxiety.

This work was exhibited at The Art Pavilion as part of the Prism Textiles exhibition Untold in 2022.
