Fancy Goods is my current studio project. It’s inspired by seafront souvenir shops and the bold colours associated with them. The title comes from the name for items for sale that are purely or chiefly ornamental.

I’ve been working with 3D pieces, combining painting and embroidery for the Dropped Ice Cream Collector’s Plates. Buried Treasure is a series of hand beaded seaside spades. I’ve also started a series of collectables inspired by the 2p machine prizes in Scarborough South Bay arcades. The collection is slowly growing and evolving as I find more inspiration during tourist season in 2025.
