Featured in the Prism Textiles Edgelands Exhibition 2024, LS6 and FLOW // FLUX explore the theme of edgelands in the city and by the coast. It was interesting to explore the theme and find different interpretations, using different processes and materials. From digital embroidery to felt making.

LS6 explores the edges between streets and parkland where graffiti and litter are a common sight. They were created from found objects and imagery of graffiti taken on our lockdown walks in Leeds.

FLOW // FLUX looks at the relationship between the land and the tides where Scalby Beck meets the sea near my seaside home in Scarborough. This assemblage brings together photography, felt making and digital embroidery to share my experiences of walking along this area.
