Introduction to hand embroidery - 2 ½ hour workshop - In this workshop you will learn the easy and satisfying art of hand embroidery. Using a few simple stitches you will create a simple sampler to inspire you for future embroidery projects.

Introduction to appliqué - 2 ½ hour workshop - In this workshop students will learn how to use the traditional technique of applique to decorate a calico bag for life, cushion cover or create an embroidered picture for your home.

Introduction to patchwork - 2 ½ hour workshop - In this workshop students will learn the traditional technique of paper piecing patchwork and how to make a Suffolk Puff. Your pieces of patchwork can be used to make a pincushion, decorate a calico bag for life or decorate a cushion cover.

Crazy Patchwork - 2 ½ hour workshop - In this workshop students will learn how to use scraps of fabric and hand stitching to create a piece of crazy patchwork fabric which can be turned into a purse. This workshop is perfect for using up those fabric scraps and turning them into exciting fabric for accessories.

Experimental Textiles Taster – day workshop - Spend a day learning how to create your own experimental fabrics through techniques such as bonding, trapping & fusing, wax entrapment, polyfusion & heat transfer printing. You can then add embellishments using hand stitch.
