Collaborations form a key part of Hayley’s practice, working alongside other artists, performers and community groups to create installations and exhibition pieces. Her socially engaged practice has included creative projects working with The Yorkshire Centre for Eating Disorders, The Booth Centre and Artlink West Yorkshire.
Hayley’s recent collaborations include Journey with Absent Friends, part of The Grief Series a sequence of seven projects by Leeds-based artist and performance maker, Ellie Harrison.
Hayley has also worked on creative projects with writer and storyteller Matthew Bellwood including 365 Leeds Stories. Working alongside older people and local stitchers, she created a textile installation of collaborative quilts and digitally embroidered handkerchiefs.
